Zoom Workshop with David Cufley: Sir John Vanbrugh and his Castle at Greenwich.
Sir John Vanbrugh was a playwright and Architect. Among his building projects was Castle Howard and Blenheim Palace. He worked with Hawksmoor at Greenwich and built his house on Maze Hill, Vanbrugh Castle, in 1722 as well as three other houses at Vanbrugh Fields, Greenwich.
He was Surveyor of the works at Greenwich Hospital from 1716. He died 26 March 1726. His house Vanbrugh Castle still stands on Maze Hill, Greenwich.

Once a month the zoom links for the Zoom talks, discussion groups and workshops during that month will be sent by email to those members on the register. Members who have registered can then attend as many of the Zoom events as they wish with no need to make a specific booking for each one.
All Workshops and Discussion Groups are members-only events.
