If you have a brushmaker in your family, this could be a new source for you to investigate.
Ken Doughty was born in Lewisham but has lived in Essex for most of his life. He worked for BT as a fault diagnostician and apart from family history his main hobby is music and playing the guitar.
His great grandfather (born 1829) was a brushmaker. Ken formed the Society of Brushmakers' Descendants in 1993, and now all references, whether related or not, are reported to the Society.
