Family History Tutor and Speaker,

Jackie says it began with a family house, researching its occupants, an interest in Local History and joining a Family History Society. Then thanks to an unexpected career change twenty years ago gave her the opportunity to design and create Family History activities twenty years ago.

​Starting teaching in the days of libraries full of film and fiche, before migrating into computers then the internet and now fully committed to online delivery.

​A regular speaker at major events such as WDYTYA-Live and RootsTech Connect, Jackie has also run dedicated workshops for Archives, Country Houses, Libraries, Museums and Universities.

​Still promoting local groups through the Yorkshire Group of Family History Societies, a member of the Historians Collaborate Group, the Guild of One Name Studies, and a number of other family history Societies.
