Most people who visit Vigo Village or Trosley Country Park are unaware of the 34 roomed mansion that once stood there. 

Members of the Stansted and Fairseat History Society will tell the history of the house and the family, the Waterlows, who lived there.

This illustrated talk includes extracts from a visitors' book from before the house was sadly demolished which give an insight into the interesting social life of the Waterlows.
